I tilted the trailer with help of wood blocks and jacks to where the end of trailer was only 12 inches above basement floor and rolled the Millrite base with knee into the basement using 3/4 inch pipes.

Grease is only recommend for the. bearings (spindle and thrust) on the mill. Vactra #2 Way Oil is a good choice. for these mills. The "crossfeed" nut is already a split nut (this is the feed that moves the saddle. in and out from the column). There isn't any adjustment to remove backlash for. the table feed screw.
